Can you elaborate on why you can’t see the moon. It’s placed using ephemeris, so if you set a time and date where the moon is a the other side of the world, you won’t see it.
But you can switch to manual control mode to ignore the ephemeris part and set a location relative to the sun.
Having a similar issue but cannot post for some reason. Celestial Vault is great, BTW. Just what I need for globe/space sim visualization at a level beyond Cesium. However, my local sunrise/sunset is off. Sunrise is off by 30 mins and sunset is off by 2 hours. LLA is correct to 3 decimal places in DecDeg, Date/time/DST is correct and I validated the sidereal (GMST) time externally and it matches well. Using the same values in the related Cesium component provides spot-on sunrise/sunset. Could really use this to be fully accurate for time-dependent lighting calcs with the sun/moon and with the starmap for reference. Not sure what it is that I’m missing but have tried everything and even when recreating the issue is persistent with the same offsets. Happy to provide any details that may help. Thanks again for a great addition!
