Saltwater Games recently launched there first game teaser trailer for the upcoming AAA game Celeros. All Animations, environments, lighting, materials and rendering was done within Unreal Engine. Custom models, Kitbash geos and epic marketplace assets were used to create this section of the race world.
The game is currently being built in Unreal Engine 5 by a UK based game studio.
My inner sci-fi nerd just got so excited about this trailer. Not only does the game look absolutely fantastic, but the video showing players being immersed and having fun makes the game seem super exciting!
Will this game be released to steam? Will there be vehicle customization? And will there be gameplay trailers released anytime soon?
The quality and detail on here is something that I havent seen quite a while now… and the concept… its getting me excited lol, my racing senses are tingling- this is something I will definitely be looking out for

We have not yet finalized which store front the game will be accessible from but Steam is definitely a big one. Players in Celeros will also have the option to connect there crypto wallets to the game allowing them to utilize digital assets they may have won or purchased from now up to the release. Due to that extra on chain functionality Steam may not allow the game to be distributed on there platform. However the player does not need to get involved with this crypto side if they choose not to.
We are currently working with our Game studio partner Lucid on all areas of the build. Vehicle customization is a big one Stay tuned

Looks badass, about time someone did something different in the racing genre, good to hear it will support both crypto kids and normal gamers just wanting to have a good time!
If you’re a fan of triple-A games, you’re going to want to keep an eye on this new title. It looks like it has all the makings of a hit, with stunning visuals and engaging gameplay that will appeal on gamers. The trailer has already generated a lot of excitement, and it’s clear that players are going to have a blast exploring the game’s sci-fi world and customizing their vehicles @ellis-switch has being doing an impecable & amazing job it’s really remarkable.
I was just shown this trailer and my mind is absolutely blown. I’m very excited to see further development as this is right up my alley. I can agree with Panda as I am also a bit of a sci-fi nerd. The immersion and detail makes it look so fun and I want to create a little cockpit gaming station just for this game, haha.
