CC4 fbx upload to UE5, knee bend during idle

Character Creator export to UE and added to new blueprint. knee bend when using different animation blue print, what am i missing

I think you are missing to change the retarget options per bone

Or something is wrong and for example, calf is calf_twist. But I don’t think so…

Hi im using Character Creator, not metahuman, the skeleton i used was UE4 , what i did i assign new skeleton to my Creator Character

Left is Creation Character and Right is UE4 (Character Interaction)

look into the animation blueprints if there is any foot IK node used. which may move the pelvis position up or down. you may need to adjust this based on your character height

Also assigning skeleton is not good

Export the animation in fbx (no preview mesh, no vertex color…), and then import selecting the one you like

Just one question, why did you assign a new skeleton? You don’t really need to do it. You can copy and paste all sockets from the Character Interaction and they will fit correctly in the CC4’s skeleton. Also, you can assign the CC4 Skeleton as a “compatible skeleton” for UE4 Mannequin, so you won’t have to retarget animations. Take a look at this video:

I did followed your instruction but the character just skate when walking?

I don’t understand, but now it seems to be a problem with the animblueprint, some blend? Is the main animation sequence working?

i have retargeted and animation is working fine. but when i used the animation blueprint its causing an issue , the character is like skating
