I’m thrilled to share my latest project - my first music video made with Unreal Engine for “CAREFREE,” which was my 1of1 submission for the WeLoveTheArt contest. This piece isn’t just a song; it’s a journey through the realms of NFTs and the metaverse, crafted with the same passion and detail that goes into creating MetaHumans.
The journey of “CAREFREE” began with my deep interest in NFT technology and its potential to revolutionize art and ownership in the digital age. I wanted to capture the transformative experience of an artist diving into the world of NFTs - from discovery to creation and eventual success.
The song is structured in three parts, each marking a significant stage in an artist’s journey within the NFT space. It begins with the initial intrigue, moves through the process of creation and collection, and culminates in the thrill of success - with a playful nod to the importance of digital security.
As a MetaHuman creator and enthusiast, I infused this project with my insights into digital art and storytelling. The music video is a labor of love, integrating Unreal Engine’s capabilities to create immersive and emotive visuals. From detailed set designs to intricate animations, every element was meticulously crafted to complement the narrative of the song.
This project was also an opportunity to push the boundaries of digital cinematography. I employed various techniques like dollies, zooms, and crane shots to create a dynamic and engaging visual experience. The video includes interactive elements, with hidden clues leading to a unique digital scavenger hunt, adding another layer of engagement for the audience.
Rendering this video was a challenging yet rewarding experience. Despite the technical hurdles and the intense effort required, it was fulfilling to see the final product come to life - a testament to the power and flexibility of Unreal Engine and digital creation tools.
