Hi everyone, I have a weird idea. I want to ask what your thought are. It is basically about capturing the real-time changes to the reverberation field with Unreal’s convolution reverb technology. So I will place the ‘real’ impulse response (IRs) to each step my player is taking, with audio volume actors, a new one per step. So like in real life, each step the player takes will have its own unique reverberation field. (Imagine only one fixed sound source for the sake of this idea). That would entail stacking the audio volumes together I believe. Does this have a chance of working?
