Capturing Reality 1.5 Alignment crashes with more than 300 photos

Just updated to version 1.5 and I am unable to get a 1000 photo project to align.
It crashes during alignment once more than 300 photos are imported.
12th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i9-12900HX 2.30 GHz with 128Gb ram installed.

Easily aligned 2000+ photos in previous versions.

Any ideas ?

Hello @P_Tanner
What are your alignment settings?
Is this also happening after application reset?

I updated to 1.5.1.11… version and crashes without no good reason during aligment. some times does it without crash and in next crashes

Hi @TietoaFinland
What are you alignment settings? Is this happening for different datasets? What is the difference between the crashed project and not crashed one? Have you provided Make it like a clean install workflow? Where are your data saved?

Settings are very basic. I have not test different data sets yet. There is no difference between projects so this does not make sence. Datasets are saved localy

What kind of crash are you getting? Is there also a red error? What are your PC’s parameters? How many images are you using?

report of unexpected error without red indigations. PC have enough power and spects for calculating RC models with over 10 000 images. in crashing project there is 3600 images

Can you show the report here?
Is this also happening after application reset?
Are you using georeferenced images? If so, are the camera priors proper?

I do not have it and now have not get it to crash again. Aplication reset I have not try. Images are georeferenced

here is the crash pop up

Can you also try that application reset and check, if the camera priors are proper?
Have you sent that dump file to us?

Just sended the report to you

Thank you.
There is a bug already created for this crash.
Can you also try the mentioned workaround above?

yes, I tested and it did not solve the problem. however creating fully new project does not end into same crash with same images
