When I invoke “Capture Movie” in the sequencer I get the “Capturing video” notice together with the “Movie Render - Preview” screen – and then the program crashes and/or freezes the computer.
I’ve been trawling the web and trying everything for days now. Any ideas very gratefully received. Thanks !

Hi - I was having that problem back in June. I don’t have it now. I don’t recall everything that changed since June, but I do remember this: in “Render Movie Settings”, when you go to Capture Movie, be sure that “Use Separate Process” (under “General”) is NOT checked. Good luck!

I managed to get it working fine in the end.
I set it to jpg export rather than movie files, and I also cleared out some disc space, and one of those 2 things stopped the crashing. If it was the disc space thing, would be nice to get a warning rather than just a crash.
