Hey dude , this is so frustrating that I just can’t help wonder have you guys tried , for just once , tried logging in within Epic launcher and Quixel bridge for JUST ONCE ???
Captcha after entering username , captcha after inputting password , then telling me failing , then Captcha after entering username , captcha after inputting password , then Captcha after entering username , captcha after inputting password
Sounds fun ? yeah man , this is what drives us crazy every F day!
I looked at the ID you attached and noticed that your login attempts are originating from a Tencent cloud computing IP address which has a fairly high rate and number of distinct users. This can cause our bot detection systems to be a bit more sensitive than if you are using a normal residential or business connection. Apologies for the inconvenience
Hello, I have tried several days to log into my Epic Games launcher just to play games and even though I use my correct email and password I am presented with a captcha I also solve “correctly” but I get a response saying that I have chosen the “incorrect” response. I could not even contact epic games because there is a captcha that is also saying I have given the incorrect response. I just want to be able to play the games I bought.
You might want to look into why you’re getting a captcha in the first place.
Are you running a lot of “privacy” blockers?
Are you connecting on a VPN or even TOR?
Are you, or someone in your family, doing other things on your computer or on your internet connection that gives you “bad reputation?”
I do need to have my VPN on but yesterday I tried again and I was presented with the 2factor identification that sent a code to my email. Then I was finally able to log in. I do not know what happened but I was not presented a captcha at that time and now I can finally play my games.
Thank you for the advice as well. If I get a captcha problem again I will check those settings.
as the captcha image, correctly solve it and get told it was an incorrect response.
Cleared the launchers webcache, made sure windows and launcher are up to date, tried as admin, clean boots, restarted routers, swapped cables and tried different ports. Tested with other things that use a captcha and they work fine.
Was going through solutions in a back and forth with someone at support, next day I get an email saying hi there I’m taking over your ticket, tried to shift the blame onto my isp and when i checked the ticket on the website I found it had in fact been closed.
No guesses my response to the subsequent email asking for a thumbs up or down valuation of the service. First person was at least trying to help, second should resign from customer service and reimburse their wages.
I only run the launcher when I load up games in that library since I find it unacceptable that every so often if left idle it will suck dry the bandwidth at random times.
I used to get the 2fa for the launcher rather than the abomination of captcha so I’d love to know how the hell I can get it back since if I can’t log in I can’t get satisfactory updated once 1.0 arrives
It had been a few weeks so thought I’d give the launcher another go, found an update waiting and not just that but the 2fa email system seems to have made a comeback.
Not sure if anyone high enough up the food chain will see this but they should consider that anything which prevents people from accessing a library of games, such as a broken infinite captcha loop, will mean that regardless of how many freebies or deals are thrown their way they won’t want to be putting their cash down at a storefront if they can’t access those titles.
