Can't uninstall Epic Games Launcher

I had to delete Fortnite from my PC because I didn’t like it. After I deleted it, It’s still in my programs uninstaller list. I tried to uninstall it again and it says it can’t because the launcher 7.9.2 isn’t there to uninstall. So i Tried installing it again but it’s a newer version and it’s still seeing the older version and won’t let me install.

What do I need to do to get this thing off my PC? Am I able to download the older 7.9.2 launcher and see if that helps?

I was facing exactly the same issue. I did almost everything I could do and then I thought to search through a few forums. I posted my question on linustechtips and got the suggestion to reboot my system in safe mode and then uninstall this games launcher.
