Can't tell dev their product is broken?

Well, dented at least. I downloaded Locodrome MAT a while back, genuinely useful tool with both body and face picker included. Problem is, for some reason I cannot now add it to a project, only create a project with it, which is not helpful. This is not true of the face picker.

This appears to be an issue the developer is not aware of, from my - limited - understanding of how FAB handles these things. I would imagine the dev might want to change it, but may not even be aware of the issue. However, I can find no way of communicating this problem to them - FAB won’t even let me leave a review.

This feels like an error and that there should be a way of flagging such issues with 3rd party products. If I was the dev I would be mildly vexed. Any chance of letting them know?

Thank you kindly.

The developer chose the product type himself. He consciously or accidentally made the product work only when creating a new project. He had the option to make the product an asset pack, which was the default option, but he chose another one.

Hi @201010,

@Jobutsu is correct- you can reach out to the developer for questions. Please let us know if we can help in any other ways.

Ps: @Jobutsu thanks for helping a fellow dev! We appreciate you!

I thought that might turn out to be the case. I suspect accidental, as it’s not been the case previously or with the other product. I’ll follow the other suggestions here to reach out. Thanks!

Indeed it is, many thanks for you help!

Well now you come to mention it…! I’m having issues outputting MRG/MRQ sequences to any file format that supports alpha. I’m aiming for a straight beauty pass, ideally in EXR or ProRes to avoid banding, but alpha is (not rendering, clipping, masking, unsure which) lens flares and atmospherics. I suspect a bug so I’ll start a new post. Thank you for the help though - I’ll see if the dev responds.
