Queston:I press play the first time to test the testmap but nothing is happening, Is this the moment i just need to wait for a long time, ive heard about something must load verry long but only the first time?
Awnser: Yes it need to load for a little wile depend on your pc specs! (it counts for every map that has to load up the first time)
Queston: ive seen in videos the graphics settings looks like epic? is ther a way to run the test/official map in medium graphics/memory?
Awnser: Yes you can change the graphics to what fit the best for your pc specs or to just save ram memory, you can do that at the top : Settings > Engine Scalability Settings
Be aware when i had my first upgrade (to version 217.0) i had to redo the graphics settings!
Your first time launching PIE (Play in Editor), it will potentially take a very long time (with those specs, it def will take a bit). My first time using PIE after not having the ADK open (IE: Fresh restart), it can take 2 mins to load up, and I have 32 gigs of ram, 3.8ghz, and a R9 290.
Try leaving it alone for up to 15-20 mins, and coming back to the computer. It also is more than likely doing Shader Compiling (open up Task Manager to see if you can find any Shader Compilers running, if so, that might take a VERY long time as it needs to compile all the shaders for the game assets before hand). If it hasn’t done anything by then, then there might be a problem, but again make sure no Shader Compiling is occurring before assuming this. I’d highly suggest closing all other programs you do not need open, as 8 gigs of ram isn’t much when it comes to the ADK, and it is possible this is part of the problem (running out of ram to spare).
