Can't select anything, selection auto-tabs itself to top! HELP

I’m currently using 4.16.2 and am having an issue and cannot figure out how to fix it. I have absolutely no plugins, no Bluetooth controllers or wireless mice or anything. Software was working fine, I was in the middle of making a game, with default Paper2d settings, when I suddenly couldn’t type when I right clicked in the node area, and cannot select anything, it just shoots up to the top. I have reinstalled Unreal twice and even tried installing an old version 5.15.3 to no avail. Someone else has had this problem before, but they said an uninstall or a bluetooth controller was their issue…but I do not believe this would apply here.

I had a similar issue recently and while uninstalling and reinstalling helped, all of a sudden I’m getting several error messages claiming certain plugins are incaompatible with the version I am in (4.16.2). So while I can edit my level, I cannot launch it to see how it actually plays. Sorry I cannot provide any guidance on your issue though.
