Can't seem to get retarget manager to save or store changes to UE mannequin.

It seems whenever I manipulate the UE mannequin skeleton,or other characters skeletons, in the target manager, I can never seem to save those changes. I choose “use current pose” in the modify pose option, and save everywhere. Yet whenever I close and reopen the program I have to always do it again. Am I missing something here or is that just the way it is?
