Can't see refraction in UEFN.

I have a material with refraction. The refraction works in Fortnite(in game session) but I can’t see the refraction within UEFN. It won’t show in the material editor or on the viewport.

Maybe you can find some answers here: https://www.reddit.com/r/unrealengine/comments/13rcjal/refraction_disabled_need_help_on_solving_this_i/

Not quite what I meant, sorry for not being too clear. In the images below, you can see that in unreal my basic glass material shows no refraction. Neither in the viewport nor the material graph. It’s only see-through compared to how it looks in Fortnite.

Ok, so to summarize, in UE5 it does not work and in UEFN it does? UEFN is 5.4, not sure if that is something to consider.

Also click on the main node and compare the settings on the left. Not sure if it is a different blend mode at play…

In UEFN Refraction only visible on EPIC scalability setting.
