Can't see new files in Unreal after dragging it into my Content folder?

Hope someone can help me with this. I’ve set up a project off the back of a marketplace project, but because there are other assets I’d like to bring in from another project (I only need the meshes and materials, not the scripting) I thought I would move what I needed to the Content folder of my existing project. However, even though they are visible in my File Explorer, when I go into UE the folders simply are not there. I’ve tried deleting the Saved folder and re=launching but no dice.

I can’t drag and drop because they are uasset files so I don’t know how else to get these assets into my project - can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance

You can’t drag between folders outside the engine, because the dependencies aren’t copied. It’s a great way to really screw up your project

The recommended way to do this is with the ‘migrate’ functionality in the content browser.

Note that you can’t migrate backwards in engine version.

Thanks! Tried the migrate method and they all came in as I wanted!
