Can't see animation preview

Hey some question.

  • your skeletal mesh is scaled properly?
  • did you put in level to see his scale?

Maybe they have very low scale this is why you do not see…

  • animation is working properly in animation program?
  • animation is done on same skeleton?

Im asking this because if animation is made on some small scaled skeleton in editor that will scale down skeleton too if you try to play animation

Atleast did you tried to setup preview mesh?

Mesh was made in Blender. Animations work there good.
Object appears in UE even bigger than i thought.
Animation was done on the same skeleton.
I did some research but could not find the solution, so here i am(

Did you tried set preview mesh too?

Well if its so big maybe you dont see it in preview because you need zoom out a lot to see… :slight_smile:
Maybe you are in the mesh… :wink:

UE works with uu = 1 cm, try to scale down your mesh properly and reexport reimport

Preview mesh is set (if I understand correctly), as you can see on first screenshots (red circle), zoom out did not work. About 1 cm. Thanks for information.

So, i solve this. I import animation and mesh seperately. And in animation window in ROOT MOTION check enable root motion. ROOT LOCK - REF POSE. And it worked

I Removed Import Mesh Button, Unticked It And Enabled, Chose A Skeleton Same Char But Already Mesh And Skel Set Up, Then Imported Maya 2019 Fbx And It Runs Well, Not, To Slow IT Down lol
