Can't see 4.8 projects in launcher

So ever since I updated to 4.8 I can’t see any new projects in the launcher. I’m at 4.8.2 at the moment.

Another problem i have is that I can’t add Movement Animset Pro to any project. The Animation Starter Pack can be added to all but the 4.8 project but nothing shows up in Movement Animset Pro.

There should be an option to add projects by hand and to choose projects with explorer instead of the UI.

Hi Sitrec,

Are you still having issues with project not showing up in the Launcher? Make sure to go to the projects file path, open the project, then restart the launcher. This will generally force the Launcher to see the project.

As for the Anim Starter Pack, it has not been made compatible with 4.8 because it is still in it’s preview stage. Once it officially releases it should have a 4.8 compatible version listed for download.

I’m a new user, and I’m running into this issue. I’ve tried everything mentioned, but new projects do not appear in the launcher, even though i can open them and edit them in the actual editor.

Makes it extremely difficult (c.f impossible) to add content from the vault if your project doesn’t appear in the Library.

Where (and under what name) are the configuration files stored? I’d also like to move one of my projects to a new drive - there doesn’t seem to be an option to change where a project is loaded from.

I just upgraded to 4.8 and I’m seeing the same thing - I can open project files from explorer and if I launch the engine it suggests my project to open, but it’s not in the launcher.
