Normally when you hit save after creating a new level from “File > New Level” you’re presented with a dialog box to name and save your new level to a desired directory. I am no longer presented with this dialog box, even after hitting “Save all Levels” nothing happens and i get no errors, it’s like it didn’t even try. If I go to project settings and change the start-up and default level I can see the newly created (untitled) level and if I hover over it, it shows to be in a “temp” directory which means if I don’t find a way to save the level It’s gonna be gone next time i launch my project, as I’ve discovered the hard way. Surely this is a bug but I can’t seem to find anything about the problem online. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone can tell me where this temp folder is so maybe I can drag and drop the new level into my project’s main directory, that would be great, thanks.
I have the same issue, you’re not alone. I wish I could help
HAVE you recently downloaded a level such as the winter chalet and try to mess around with it? I believe that’s whats causing my issue. It could be the file structure within the epic games program
