Can't merge Laser + Photos

In your first post the scans were georeferenced for some reason. Maybe you used different settings.

Also, there are visible position errors for the scans in 3D view. In your next post, there is no georeferencing. So maybe that caused your issues.

Should I use Intensity instead of Color?
It sepends on your scans (how were you scanned). Colored scans are more mergeable with images.

Should I set Inputs > select all laser scans > Lock Pose for Continue = yes
This is not necessary for laser scans.

Should the Intensity values give more accurate mesh than Color?
I suppose not if you are using just laser scans. With images, there could be slight differences in the alignment.

When meshing we seem to get better mesh if we

*disable meshing for the photos
*enable meshing for the laser
Basically, this is a general workflow. Laser scans are used for meshing, images for texturing. But there is an option to set the priority of these for mesh calculation, as sometimes the scans don’t cover the whole area: How to give more priority to laser scans in reconstrution - #2 by OndrejTrhan
