Cant interact with kai in lego fortnite

Summary

My friend(the owner of the multiplayer world i am in)talked to kai and asked him to open the portal to the land of monsters and which he did, but my friend eventually did not enter the portal and kept playing normally until the server reset over time.Ever since we cannot talk to kai as every time we interact with him he looks at us and I think his text appears for a fraction of a second (but I’m not sure), after that it acts as if we already interacted with him and kicks us out of the interaction.Me and my friends tried countless tricks such as:
-Reseting our ps5s
-Closing and opening fortnite
-Going out of the world and coming in again
-going away from kai until we can’t see him on our HUD and waiting a full lego day
And many,many more..
PLEASE EPIC FIX THIS BUG WE SPENT 2K+ HOURS ON THIS WORLD

Find someone who can help me fix this big and hopefully make epic fix this bug as fast as they can

Observed Result

The bug can be fixed and no one hopefully loses their world to this bug

**•**	Left Ninjago Island entirely and played elsewhere for more than a full day, then returned

**•**	Hard reset of the game (full close and relaunch)

**•**	Hard reset of the console

**•**	Multiple in-game day/night cycles and server resets

The stuck state persists through all of it. This is blocking the Land of Monsters portal and the Shatter Spawn arena access.

I have the same issue, but am on Xbox. literally flickers tappinf the x button and Kai’s dialog never comes up. Have you found a work around?
