Can't install UE5 Preview and now Launcher won't start

Hello,

I already had UE4 installed, but only used it for some tests so far. I wanted to install the UE5 Preview release, but the UE5 tab in my Epic Games Launcher was missing. Restarting did not help. So I tried uninstalling UE4 and afterwards relaunching the Epic Games Launcher. Now, the Epic Games Launcher crashes at every startup (and the error message: “You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.” does not help).

I am really interested in UE since the announcement of MetaSounds, but so far I have spend more time trying to get any version of the engine to run (installed UE5 Early Access through launcher, built UE5 Early Access from source…) and none of them would run without major bugs and crashes. The launcher makes the whole experience a nightmare (keeps on crashing, I have reinstalled it countless times).

If it matters: I am on a Mac.
