I’ve just been around in circles with about 4 people from launcher support and they’ve handballed me off to these forums.

Please help I just want to see the demo.

I was having a similar issue, turns out I was low on space. I’d recommend to double check and make sure you have enough space (on whatever drive your UE vault is stored).

Yeah it’s on my C: M2 SSD still says i have ~285gb

I’m thinking it’s something to do with that code error and the fact it’s trying to install on D: when I don’t actually have a D: on my computer I go C: E: F: G: H:

been round and round in circles with support done everything they asked - Checked for updates, cleared the webcache, run as administrator, uninstalled and reinstalled, graphic drivers are upto date and server status is ok

They’ve handballed me here saying it’s a UE problem and not the launcher but the launcher is what keeps on crashing as soon as I click the button to get the demo it crashes.

When you click on the ‘Get sample’ button, it pops up one window to ask you the name and location to put it. Same as you create projects in UE4.

So have you created project in UE4 recently? I’m thinking they might come from the same root.

nope as soon as I click on that ‘Get Sample’ button the launcher crashes with that error message.

No pop up box, and I don’t currently have UE4 or anything installed cause it all got uninstalled during tech support.

My suggestion is you got to make the UE4 project installation run successfully first. UE5 apparently is built above that.
