Hi Nyanino,
Try the troubleshooting steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide. Particularly, make sure that you are trying to install the program with admin privileges and that you have full control of the drive that you are trying to install the launcher to.
If nothing works, follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs. Post them here, along with your Dxdiag/system specs.
There ye go. I’m following the steps on the guide and it led me here.
Hello Nyanino,
It appears that your previous install may have left some remnants that the system is still picking up. Do you have an Epic Games launcher entry still showing in your control panel under your installed programs? If so, please uninstall it via the control panel then try to install again.
If there is no entry, other user have been able to use the steps here to clear up the old install entries on Win 10.
If this does not work, please let me know.
Hello Nyanino,
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you’re still experiencing this issue, please try the suggestion that I mentioned above then post back here with the requested info.
If you need anything else, feel free to ask.
I have same issue
I have this exact same problem, but those links you provided to troubleshoot “broken” and go to topics that irrelevant to this problem. As suggested by the other post just give us the old installer file to fix this.
