Can't find Window > Developer Tools > Timecode Provider

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to Setup a few VR and AR Projects in UE5.0.3. Up to now we have been working with 4.27 for our TV productions and one of, if not the most important setting that I have to check is, that the systems are running locked with an external Timecode and Genlock provider. This is necessary especially for the AR Productions, but also VR.
There used to be options under “Window > Developer Tools” called Timecode Provider and Genlock.
With the Engine Version 5.0.3 I can’t find any “Developer Tools” anymore. Does anyone know where I can activate these windows?

I know how to activate the timecode monitor in the viewport, but that doesn’t help me really…

Hey.

Go to Windows > Virtual Production > TimecodeProvider and you will see a new window popping up which you can dock anywhere you want.
That window will show the timecode returned by whatever Timecode Provider you have set in Project Settings > Engine > General Settings > Timecode.

SystemTimeTimecodeProvider class returns your system’s current time.

Cheers,
P.
