this pic from tutorial ,but i can’t find it in version 4.16
It was an experimental feature. They got rid of it apparently. It’s not in plugins either so I’m assuming it’s either not ready, doesn’t work anymore or they’re not going to continue using it as default.
Never mind. I looked it in the wrong place.
Go to editor preferences and check the procedural Foliage Option. You might get some very buggy results though.
I found that it has been moved to Create Advanced Asset > Foliage > Procedural Foliage Spawner
