Can't export maya animation as FBX (rigging toolkit)

I was using a rig I found to make a simple idle animation, but when I try to export it, the error Maya gives me is “the FBX plug-in does not support assets created with the advanced asset menu.” and states in the details, “The following containers will be ignored: JointMover.”

I looked around and saw that this was an issue relating to the unreal engine animation and rigging toolkit used to create the rig for the model. I need to export this but I don’t know how, because importing it into unreal just gives me the error of “Failed to import/Failed to create asset.”
