So, this is rather wierd, I already posted on the forums, but I doubt I’ll get much so I’m doubling up here.
Dragging a simulated PHAT from the last joint in the chain is causing stretching of the bones like there is no tomorrow.
I’m thinking this is an engine issue, a bug of sorts in .24
Dragging the second joint in the chain works, or at least it works better.
Adding in speed creates issues there too.
All the linear limits set to lock.
Damping forced to 1
Applying break settings works. The joints break when dragged.
Changing to soft limits creates a slinky as expected.
Apparently there is just no way to drag the chain without causing it to stretch and spaz out.
Any suggestions appreciated.
