Can't disable compiling sound

In 4.10 when I try to disable the editor sounds ( Edit > Editor Preferences > Miscellaneous tab > Enable Editor Sounds) the compiling sound (pressing the Compile button) is still audible. I’ve tried changing the setting and restarting the editor, and the sound is still played.
