Hi,
So l was editing some blueprints and I was editing multiple blueprints at the same time and I didn’t compile them. I thought the editor will compile them when I launce the game (because of course there are no errors in my blueprints). Well when I pressed the play button on the editor, everything crashed, no crash window or anything. When I tried to reopen the project, it said something like " hey, it looks like you have had a crash. Let’s get stuff back from auto save" and I say yes! Then it starts to do something and nothing happens (for a 30min). I tried to open the project again, but it only loads to 95%, then the loading window goes away and nothing happens.
Finally, when I opened the task editor and saw that, when the ”95% window” closes, program called “crash report” launces, so something is wrong. After that, I found multiple crash folders in my projects saved folder. Great…
Now I try to figure out what makes it crash by renaming some folders and trying to open the project and then renaming some files and then I found the file that crashes the whole thing. Great! Let’s just delete that file! I don’t need that. Well…you can’t do that…
I can’t delete that file from my project, because every time I tried to delete or even right click it in UE editor, everything crashes…Even if I open the project and then in explorer, I rename it back original file name and try to delete it, it crashes…
Well what if I try to load that blueprint in other projects, maybe I can see what’s wrong…nope.
So any good ideas how to I get rid of this one blueprint or safe/debug open the blueprint?
I can’t attached the file to here, even when it is only 183KB and .uasset file.
