Hello.
I am new in creating something with ue4 but still have some expirience for 1 year+
Moustly i try to worck with blueprints to make a kind of first person shooter.
But not so far i faced with strange problem. when i try to package my project it does not packing at all writing me that cooking failed. It is interesting that i tried version 4.24 4.25 4 .26 all is the same. Happens this when i take too much for engine content.
So if i create new project with first pers character and and just few assets well it worcks some how and i can package it.
But if i add more ( moustly 15 + like for 30GB content) then i cant cook it at all, always fails. I spend 2 days to add 1 by 1, to try other assets. to reinstal engine to try other engine. reboot pc over 20 times . many new projects. i read what other ppl wrote and switched off antivirus and many other things. enterred all levels that i had and pressed save and build if necessary. enterred all char BP and anim BP to save all inside eventhow all was ok . Nothing. It like has a kind of warning limit. if warning limit is more then aproximative 500, then cooking fails.
I dont understand how it worcks and how can cooking be failed if you take new project , new assets, you dont change anything, nothing at all , dont put anything on level and still cooking failed. what is the logic?
hope for your help because i already have no ideya how to fix this.
