Can't compile

I started the same tutorial too and experienced the same error. Now I can run a new instance of every configuration.
can’t remember for sure anymore but I did those two things in not necessarily this order:

  • Run development build.
  • ‘run debug game’ or ‘debug game editor’ with closed editor

Anyhow, maybe this helps.

Just closing the Unreal Engine Editor fixed it for me. My guess is the editor is somehow making the .dll unavailable for VS
