Can't compile MetaHuman

It works

Man, It works. Can’t believe it hahaha Thanks :grinning:
Do you know why this is needed? Just out of curiosity

Dear @OptimisticMonkey
I apply your method. I reinstall the metahuman plugin. I even copied metahuman locally in the project plyings\marketplace folder and edited the .uplugin file as you said but still, I received the same error about:
Missing object file …\MetaHumanCore\Module.MetaHumanCore.cpp.obj listed in \MetaHuman\Intermediate\Build\Win64\UnrealGame\Development\MetaHumanCore\MetaHumanCore.precompiled
Took 2.06s to run dotnet.exe, ExitCode=6

Could you help me with this, please?

UE 5.4.2. The bug is still here. Setting ‘MetaHumanIdentity’ to ‘Editor’ fixes the issue.

I confirm it works on 5.4.4, @brandav you’re the best!

You are insane. It’s work for me in 5.4.4 !

I tried to do just that, but it makes my computer crash (reboot) when I try to package
Anyone has ideas?

Edit: I had to switch both “MetaHumanIdentity” and “MetaHumanCaptureData” to “Engine” and then it built. Using 5.4.4 in the Game Animation Sample Project.

This seems to be an intended bug, folks! It seems like Epic intentionally didn’t open source code for MetaHuman Animator. What a joke.

MetaHumanSpeech2Face → source code is also missing in 5.5!

They won’t release source code either, I’m guessing. Lip Sync is a competitive space perhaps.
