Hi, I have a simple Text widget and I try to change its color but it just somehow don’t work. Tried many different approaches using editor and BP but the text still remains WHITE. Not sure what I’m missing.

Does this also happen when you just add the widget to the viewport without any animations? Just display a text with another color? Did you maybe by accident add a keyframe for your text color to the animation?
Thanks a lot! I’m quite new to UMG and this scenario just slipped out. The animation indeed had a color key which interfered with preset color.

Hi! Having the same problem here. How did you manage to fix this?
If it’s an animation-based issue, it’s in the Widget editor at the “Designer” tab.
At the top, hit the dropdown “Window” and then “Animations”. In the new window, check if your animation set the “Color and Opacity” and delete that section.
