I got a sanction because of "Content marked as “For Adults” after changing little part of the description, so i wanted to change the settings to “Yes, this entry contains adult content”.
The product was still live. But i couldnt send it for approval, the error said “Cannot update a live listing from non mature to mature”. So it took my product of the list and tried again.
Again same error: “Cannot update a live listing from non mature to mature”. I cant send my product for approval again now. The only way is to mark it again as “No mature content”. What to do now?

Steps to Reproduce
Change “No, this entry does not contain any adult content.” to “Yes, this entry contains adult content.” and try to send for approval. Makes no difference if the product is live or not. If it was live, you cant change it.

I can change the mature content settings

Im thinking of removing the “blood”, thats what i think got me the sanction on my product.
I cant wait that much longer with my product not buyable, not viewable for users that bought it and not updateable (my v1.1 update is finished and i want to release it).

@Eugene1v1 The problem is still not solved for me.
I removed the blood from all screenshots and filled out the objection.
The result was, objection was declined and the sanction stays in place.
I mailed to the support afterwards but they said they cant remove it and they also cant tell my why i got the sanction.
I checked for other products that show way more blood or sometimes they also have dismemberment features shown…they are all “no mature content”.
So im out of options at the moment and really dont know what to do to get this solved.
So the listing is still not live (draft status?), and still “Cannot update a live listing”? And they are not updating you about are they going to fix it at all?
I think we have been hit by a similar bug or issue but causing our entire fab account to be deactivated affecting 50+ products.
We can’t even access our fab listings nor sales data. We have submitted a bug report for assistance but no response so far.
We’d like to adress any potential issue with any product, description or pictures, but we got no explanation whatsoever. It’s shocking that this kind of actions which impacts our company, customers and products (+50) without prior proper warning or explanation.
I hope this is just a glitch or technical bug from some automation and hope Fab team can help us sorting this out asap.
No, its live again. I sent it in for approval again with “no mature content” and it got accepted. But the sanction is still in place…and i cant do anything about that. Im waiting for epic to get this fixed.
One of our products triggered a sanction, we appealed, they removed the sanction since it was a mistake and asked us to re-submit. We did it. Got the sanction again. Tried to switch to “mature”. Same error as above. Finally we opted to remove the affected product.
same. its not allows to change, than does block that asset. asset goes draft and removes from online. so it cant sell. i cant update mature content option. so basically its blocked from sales. so what we do about it??? remove from listing and re upload as a new asset with mature content checked tis time?
I’ve been facing this issue since FAB launch, it seems to never get fixed. One of my products was sanctioned, and I’m unable to mark it as mature in order to remove the sanction. I’ve already appealed, but the sanction was upheld. I also reached out to support, but they didn’t help. The sanction is still active and there’s nothing I can do about it, I’m concerned it may lead to further issues.
