Can't access purchased assets

When I try to download newly purchased assets, I get “Unavailable”. Apparently doing some reading, there appears to be some sort of arbitrary limit to the number of assets you can purchase on a single account? However, the limit mentioned was “1000” and I only have half of that.

I emailed support yesterday, hopefully a response soon. This feels a little shady to me. I’ve spent multiple thousands of dollars as a single indie developer paying for everything out of pocket. I hate that this is taking away from my development time now, as I’d really like to get started with the assets that I purchased and have a license to use.

I guess this is more of a vent post. It’s just a real bummer and very demoralizing.

This has been happening a lot recently. Try this:

When you quit the launcher, it actually stays running in the background. You need to find that in the task manger and kill it. Then restart the launcher.

It can take a few seconds to sync.

I’ve reinstalled the entire launcher, rebooted, reinstalled all versions of UE etc.
