After seeing your post I just this minute uploaded a model and textures (just to check)… it saved them with no errors.
I take it you check for the little yellow warning sign in the materials dialog box before saving?
Apart from that I haven’t got anything else to offer.
It might be an idea to start your own thread if it keeps happening. You might have a different bug to this one I reported.
