After uploading materials I am unable to save the scene.
At least, I waited for over 10 mins to save and then gave up.
I decided to try a previous model that I already have in my listings.
I knew it saved in under a minute.
This also hung, after a few mins I gave up.
What type of bug are you experiencing?
Publishing
Steps to Reproduce
Upload baked materials.
Press save.
Expected Result
I expected the save to be as quick as it normally does.
Observed Result
After waiting for over 10 mins the scene (materials) wouldn’t save.
I noticed that the bar showing the upload progress isn’t showing when trying to save. See attached image of trying to upload the model I already have listed.
I’ve also face the same issue, whenever you apply the materials and tried to save it, It stuck in the saving scene, I’ve contacted the platform support and they suggest to clear browsing data and cookies yet it still doesn’t work, hope they fix it, as a lot of publisher is facing the same thing.
It can’t be cookie related because I’ve tried 3 different browsers all 3 with everything cleared.
One thing I forgot to mention was that a few times before it stopped working/started to hang, the saving screen, when saving the materials, started to zoom into the corner of the model and the model had blurred materials. Before when saving this blurring didn’t happen. The wording in front of the model saying, saving your scene, doesn’t blur.
I thought when this first happened it was weird and took a screen shot, but after saving all was okay, so I deleted the screen shot…I should have kept it.
So yep! I’m hoping they can fix this because as I said above, I can’t save materials, which means I can’t add models to my store.
What’s worrying is that the techs haven’t replied to this post.
Hi @Satintribe . Could you please share the URL or the listing ID of the listing you’re trying to create/update? That’ll help our team troubleshoot it.
After uploading the model and trying to apply materials, when it hung, and I couldn’t apply the materials, there seemed no point in leaving a black model in draft, so I deleted it.
I would be happy to upload a model (in my listings) and post the baked materials here (in this post), and allow you somehow to access my store account for your team to see how it won’t save the materials to my scene.
