cannot re-activate SDK

I’m using a 1-month trial license of the SDK.  I first activated the software with an 8-day period.  That has expired now and I’m trying to re-activate the software for the rest of my trial period on the same computer.  However, I keep getting an error message: “The unlock.bin cannot be verified”.

I have tried: 

  1. regenerate the unlock.bin file with the ActivationTool.exe.

  2. delete unlock.bin, then regenerate unlock.bin

  3. Run a repair installation, then regenerate unlock.bin

  4. Uninstall the SDK, delete unlock.bin, reboot, reinstall the SDK, regenerate unlock.bin

None of this has worked.  I’m following the same steps I did when I successfully installed the SDK the first time.  I’ve also tried selecting different activation periods (7 days, 15days, 16days), but I get the same error message each time!
