I installed Unreal recently, I can’t open the uproject files.
I created an FPS project and it opens fine from the launcher, but if I want to open it from the file folder I get an error “Invalid Command Line”.
I have the 5.2 installation in C:\Program Files\Epic Games\5.2 and the path for the UnrealVersionSelector that I would normally use is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine.
I have copied the UnrealVersionSelector and pasted it in the corresponding folder of the installation and I have registered it but it does not work.
When I try to run the UnrealVersionSelector from C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Engine\Binaries\Win64 I get the following:
Why are you attempting to use the version selector to open your project’s .uproject file? Are you getting the Invalid command line error from the folder of the project itself?
If I click there I get the Invalid Command Line window, I open it with the UnrealVersionSelector because I also want to generate the visual studio project files but I don’t have that option currently either. I’m reinstalling the engine to see if something works.
