Cannot open projects

Hi! For the institution i work for we make about 3 project a day, however when i try to open the project the next day i receive the error message: ‘could not find the file, would you like to locate it manually?’ When clicking yes the program refuses to open the file, when clicking no the following message appears: ‘you ca still use RealityCapture as a scene viewer even without images. However, you will not be able to create new models.’ 

Why can RealityCapture not open the files or not find the images?

did you change the location of your inputs?

When you clicked on yes, did you find the correct file path to the wanted file? You have to do it manually.

If i click on yes and try to locate the file manually, Reality Capture gives an error saying it is an unsupported file.

What kind of data are you trying to open? Did these data somehow changed? Can you send me a printscreen, how it looks?

i’m trying to open the holo projects in Reality Capture. the projects are saved as .rcproj files , when trying to find the files manually i get this error.

What were your inputs for this project?

By this error you are supposed to find source image or LSP, not .rcproj file…

What is there as source, when you open the project file in Notepad? It should look like this:

What is it saying after ‘could not find the file’ ? You have to find this specific file, not the project.

As example, I moved that file to another folder, so I have to select this image in the new folder and open it.

ah yes! if i select one of the images used to make the project it works!
