Cannot open C++ project on OSX

After creating a sample project in UE 4.1, building and running it with Xcode, I’m unable to open project after again in UE 4.1. I get a popup - ‘game … could not be found. Please make sure this module exists and that it is compiled’

Can someone please explain process for OSX. I’ve seen another question with the same issue that said to ‘confirm that you are setting solution configuration to “Development Editor” in XCode’.
Where is this done?
Is it possible to show an image/vid of Mac XCode working process?

There’s some information at this link:

pertinent part is that you want to use Product > Build For > Profiling if you want a Development configuration.
