Hello. I’m not good at English, so please forgive me if there are some spell miss or wrong grammar use.
During using UE4, an accident happened.
When you double click an asset in content blowser, usually you can open the editor of it, and so had I.
But today, I cannot open any assets by double clicking. In addition, I cannot open any folders in content blower.
In fact, I can open assets by ‘right click → Edit’ or folders in sourve panel by clicking it, but this is so inconvinient.
By the way, one more accident has occured, which I don’t know whether is relevant to the earlier accident.
In the bottom right of the editer, a weird mike and ring icons are emerged. I attached a picture of them.
I want to remove them from the editor.
Reset your UE Editor layout. That’s in the ‘Window’ menu → Layout section (at the bottom) → Reset Layout…
The “weird mike and ring icons” are overlays from NVidia’s GeForce Experience sharing functionality. To get rid of them, start GeForce Experience, go to the Settings screen (small cogwheel icon, top right). In the General section, left column, there’s a section named Share with a green switch on the right. Click it to disable, and the overlay will disappear.
Before trying “1.”, I solved the problem of the icons of GeForce Experience. They were removed properly. Thanks.
After removing them, though I don’t know why, I came to open the assets by double clicking collectly.
In fact, other CGI tools hadn’t work collectly while GeForce Experience sharing functionality was working. Maybe it shouldn’t be active while I’m working on some CGI tools or UE4.
