Cannot make new folder, select "FIle" or do anything with right click. 4.11.2

I’m using 4.11.2 for an older game, I need to cook some content but when I click “File” at the top the program window goes white then dark, no drop menu. I cannot right click to make a new folder either. Any ideas?

I have a project on 4.26 working fine.

I have restarted UE4 and restarted the PC but to no avail.

I could not see a help and support type section so apologies, move if needs be.

Maybe you should verify your engine version it get rid of most oh the problems
