I just installed Unreal Engine 5.6.1. on my PC, but when I clicked “Launch.” Nothing happens. In the Downloads tab, it seems to be stuck at the “initializing” step. What should I do in this situation?
I have a XPS 8960 with GeForce RTX™ 4070Ti .

Hey there @elisha75830! Welcome to the community! Usually when the engine is attempting to launch and cannot make it past initialization, there could be an issue with the installation or some form of firewall or antivirus blocking the launch. After some time, does the initialization time out or does it just keep going?
I think it just keeps staying on the initializing phase.
Can you launch the Epic Games Launcher as an administrator? It might also be necessary to clear the web cache.
Do you have the Unreal Engine desktop shortcut? If so, try to launch it without the Epic Games Launcher. If not, you may need to try to launch it from the EXE directly.
An example location of where it may have been installed is: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\UE_5.6\Engine\Binaries\Win64
