I’ve recently discovered of some tools that are available on the Epic Games GitHub. I have followed the instructions lined out here and have received an email confirming that my GitHub account is linked with my Epic Games account. I have even contacted Epic Games support who have confirmed that my accounts are linked, likewise on the GitHub page, I have an Oauth connection to Epic Games.
A slight hitch which I have come to suspect but not fully tested (as I can’t just yet) is that the email my Epic Games uses (Yahoo) is different from my GitHub (gmail). I do plan on changing my Epic Games email to my gmail but have to wait for my other epic games account to be deleted which is currently occupying the gmail email address. However, I do believe that it would be a slim chance this is the issue.
After getting into contact with Epic Games support they explained I have to get into contact with Unreal Engine Support as they’re a different team and will be able to help me with this matter and provided me with this link. However, I have scoured this page and the UE4 Answers page for 2 days to find no form of contact to Unreal Engine Support directly and no solutions to my issue on the answers page.
I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my accounts, on both GitHub and Epic Games side and tried to do this on seperate days in case unreal was just having a bad server day.
If anyone else has any other solutions for me to try that would be greatly appreciated or if anyone knows of where I can contact Unreal Engine Support Team directly either via Email, Support Ticket, Telephone that would be greatly appreciated. I hope I have left enough detail in this post for someone to help, otherwise ask away.
