As for today the support of Grooms in mutable is experimental and may not work in all cases. Said that, would you be able to provide us with a reproduction case that we can run locally to see what may be happening?
Try to provide as much info as possible as that eases our work and accelerates the development of a fix for any issue you may find while using the plugin.
