I’m trying to align laser data and photos. I’ve imported the laser data (E57 ordered, from Kaarta Contour scanner that uses SLAM), after clicking “Align Images”, I’m getting only 5/5 cams. Then I’ve added 87 photos of the same space, and tried automated alignment… it cannot align. Any ideas why? Thanks:)
Thanks, Ondrej. I’m able to import the scan but cannot see enough points to precisely manually align. Is then a way to show more points from the point cloud?
This is a result of the used laser scanner. As I wrote, RealityCapture doesn’t support handheld scanners (there is a feature request for it). In this case you need to create some fake laser scan positions as it is described in second attached link in my previous message.
