Can you stop a Timeline mutiple times?

I set my character up so it follows a spline when it overlaps with the box collision at the start of the spline. A timeline is used to move the character along the spline. It then stops the timeline and stops following the spline when it overlaps with the box collision at the end of the spline. For some reason when it follows the second spline it doesn’t stop following. It just continues moving forward until it falls off the map rather than stopping the timeline.
