Can you make one texture/material when using the ''convert to static mesh'' tool?

Long story short. I used a library 3d model and place some book in it. Then i converted everything into a static mesh for convenience and optimisation. Problem is I almost have 1284 material and makes the LODs ultra buggy and break performance.

Is there a way to convert all of is in one texture/material instead of having 1284 MI?

Yes, it’s in the merge mesh menu somewhere, if you look for it ( further down ).

Not at a machine rn, so can’t do a pic…

It worked! Thank you so much! I dropped from 1800 to 2 materials…
