Can you import GLTF in Unreal Engine 4.8?

I have a project in UE 4.8 and I want to import free models (some in gltf type) or some models of my own but when I import the gltf by dragging it into the content browser UE refuses to import it into the game. I might be mistaken but is Gltf supported?

There was no glTF import supported in 4.8. You will have to convert your glTF to FBX first.
